Geoff Sutton, the man who made “Hamburger Helper” a household name, launched his agency in 1978 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Over the years, Sutton Reid has handled national and regional accounts including Pontiac Motors, GMC Trucks, Grand Casino, and Southland Greyhound Park. It is one of the oldest and most acclaimed agencies in the Mid-South.

Today, under the leadership of Steven Reid, Sutton Reid Advertising, Inc. has made political strategy and media its primary focus.

Steven Reid has been a part of political advertising since 1992 when he engineered the 60% landslide defeat of a 22-year incumbent Congressman. The Arkansas Democrat Gazette called the race “easily the biggest upset in Arkansas political history.”

Almost two decades later, he is still defeating incumbents and shattering conventional wisdom. He is recognized as one of the best consultants in the nation for targeted urban radio, and his television ads have become legend in the South.

He graduated from the University of Memphis and has worked in the Washington office of United States Senator Dale Bumpers and on the United States Senate’s Committee on Small Business. His work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Media Week, and Campaign Magazine.

In his spare time Steven competes in triathlons and has accomplished the goal of finishing 5 Ironman races.
